How We Sold a Home Within a Week Using Social Media and Spending Only $30!

This is a perfect example of how quick and powerful social media marketing can be. The brief from the vendors was simple — “We have purchased another property, get ours sold this week”

The property was listed for sale Sunday evening, photos and property description were completed Monday. The social media campaign kicked off Tuesday morning immediately resulting in multiple viewings. The total spend on the selectively targeted and measured campaign was $30 — that’s right, just $30. Close to 1200 people engaged with the post and it was shared 16 times, effectively creating a word of mouth campaign which reached over 2000 people.

The fantastic result was the best part of the process. The property sold within the week after receiving an amazing offer well above where the property had been valued.

Using traditional print marketing the first booking would only just have been made and the first advert would still have been about a week away by the time our vendors put up the SOLD sign.
